He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Neas and Agnes Neas; and his siblings, Veronica Sadatis, Eleanor Gottwald, Gerald, Edward and Francis Neas.
He is survived by: his son Michael Neas; his daughter-in-law Carol of Old Saybrook; his daughter Paula Neas Cosgrove of Norwich; his grandchildren, Matthew Cosgrove of Winston Salem, NC, Kevin Cosgrove (Jamie Groves) of Norwich, CT, Michael Neas of Essex Junction, VT and Mia Neas of Bedford, NH.; his great grandchildren, David and Cece Cosgrove; and his sister Eileen MacDonald of Berkley.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 23rd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Dockray & Thomas Funeral Home (455 Washington St, Canton, MA 02021). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, April 23rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Wednesday, April 23rd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Massachusetts National Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to the West Roxbury VA Hospital in honor of David's memory.
