He was predeceased by: his brother Philip E. Coughlin. He is survived by: his spouse Ita Dennehy; his child Maeve A. Coughlin of Chicago, IL.; his brother Geoffrey Coughlin of Cambridge; his nephew Eamon Clark; his siblings-in-law, Therese Dennehy and John Clark; and also Kimberley J Coughlin. He is also survived by many sisters and brothers-in-law, nephews and nieces, grand nephews and grandnieces.
