He was predeceased by: his parents, Mary Bates (Hayes) and Thomas Bates. He is survived by: his siblings, Kenneth (Kathy) of Hampton, NH, Nancy Bates and Christine Kilmurray of Pembroke, MA. He is also survived by many loving cousins, aunts & uncles.
Visitation was held on Friday, April 18th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Brown & Hickey Funeral Home (36 Trapelo Rd, Belmont, MA 02478). A prayer was held on Friday, April 18th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
