He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, William McMullen and Amelia McMullen; his wife Sandy McMullen of Bridgewater; his sons, Mike McMullen (Becca) of Columbia and Kevin McMullen (Katie O'Reilly) of San Francisco, CA.; and his cousin Diane Wells.

“Dear McMullen Family, Yesterday (9/8/21) I was shocked to hear of Rick’s passing. I am a classmate of Rick’s at Matignon High from 1965-69. I saw him at all of our reunion functions and he always looked GREAT ! He looked young, healthy and, as always, he was great to talk to and relaxed. I’m guessing he didn’t have brain cancer when I saw him in 2019 but, if he did, he kept it to himself. My sympathies go to all of your for your great loss. He was truly a great guy ! Dennis Farrell”
