She was predeceased by: her parents, Pearl Douglas and Simeon Arthur Roberts; her grandparents, Simeon Oscar Roberts and Leontyne Scott; and her siblings, Judy Burns and Ronald Wortham.
She is survived by: her children, Stephen and Leslie Spencer (Paul); her adoptive son William St. Clair Phillips; her grandchildren, Brandon Phillips, Ameer Phillips, Taron Coleman and Maya Phillips; her sister Alice Burns (Jimmy); and her sister-in-law Lorna Phillips. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Pearl demonstrated her Christian goodwill by quietly serving others and donating to various causes that often included vulnerable populations.
