Maria Anagnostopoulos Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Maria Anagnostopoulos of Cambridge, Massachusetts, born in Haverhill, Massachusetts, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 9, 2025 at the age of 83. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Maria Anagnostopoulos to pay them a last tribute.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Maria shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Maria farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Socrates and Pauline Skalkeas; her brother Alexander Skalkeas; her husband Dr. Athanasios H. Anagnostopoulos; and her son-in-law Vassilios Karabelas.
She is survived by: her daughter Demetra Anagnostopoulos. She is also survived by many relatives and numerous friends.
Viewing was held on Wednesday, January 15th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Saints Constantine and Helen Greek Orthodox Church (14 Magazine St, Cambridge, MA 02139). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, January 15th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Wednesday, January 15th 2025 from 12:30 PM to 12:45 PM at the Mt. Auburn Cemetery (580 Mt Auburn St, Cambridge, MA 02138).
