It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Lorraine C. Travers of Cambridge, Massachusetts, who passed away on February 14, 2025, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband James J. Travers, Sr.; her son James J. "Jimmy" Travers, Jr.; and her sibling Beverly Finlayson. She is survived by: her children, Elizabeth Shappee (Clyde) of Walpole, Margaret Mason (Harold) of Medford, Maureen Zaccaria (James) of Woburn and Joseph Travers (Freddy Soza) of Cambridge; and her grandchildren, Timothy Mason (late Nicole) and Sarah Mason. She is also survived by many loving relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 25th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Saint John's Church - Cambridge (2254 Massachusetts Ave, Cambridge, MA 02140). A funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, February 25th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
