She was predeceased by: her parents, John Avakian and Josephine Avakian. She is survived by: her children, Tania Zayas of Cambridge and Julio Gonzalez of Somerville; her grandchildren, Leah, Angel, Zaria and Julian; and her siblings, Roseanne Avakian of Chelsea, Margaret Chin (Willie) of Reading, Patricia Avakian (Craig Murphy) of Chelsea, Joseph Avakian (Josephine) of Somerville, Scott Avakian of Chelsea and Annemarie Caterina (Thomas) of Cambridge. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
