He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Florence Goodwin (Leaman); and his children, Deborah Hennessey, Bill, Robert Goodwin (Bonnie) and Eugene Goodwin. He was also cherished by 5 Grandchildren, 6 Great Grandchildren and 12 nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, February 12th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Sacred Heart Church (770 Mt Auburn St, Watertown, MA 02472). A funeral Mass was held on Wednesday, February 12th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
