He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Edward A. Counihan III and Louise Watson Counihan of Cambridge, MA.; and his siblings, Susan Counihan Fratus of Keene, NH, Carole Counihan (Jim Taggart) of Lancaster, PA, Christopher Counihan (Eleanor Marks) of Cambridge, MA and Stephen Counihan (Maureen) of Reading, MA. He was also cherished by the sixteen nieces, nephews, grand-nieces and grand-nephews.
