He was predeceased by: his parents, Johnny Turner-Scott and Lillian Turner-Scott; his wife Joan Scott; and his grandmother Mary Magdelene Turner. He is survived by: his children, Mario Scott (Safiyyah), Kamau "Kam" Scott and Star Scott; his grandchildren, Javel Gramling and Sakai Scott; his great grandchild Aubree Gramling; and his siblings, James Scott, Mary Scott and Lillian Scott.
