It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard J. Mayo (Buzzards Bay, Massachusetts), born in South Boston, Massachusetts, who passed away on October 25, 2019, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his son Richard J. Mayo, Jr.; and his brother Arthur Mayo. He is survived by: his wife Isabel; his children, Joanne M. Cull (John "Butch") of Stoughton, Michael F. Mayo (Susan E. Duross) of Marshfield, Sean P. Mayo, Dartmouth and Robert A. Mayo of New Hampshire; his stepchildren, Paul Ryan, Regis Gallagher and Debora Ryan (Rocco Amaru); his grandchildren, Meaghan Mayo, Andrew Cull (Jessica), Mackenzie Cull, Tyler Mayo, Erin Mayo and Isabella Ryan; and his siblings, John "Jack" Mayo of Quincy, Diane Swart of Wareham, Doris Wyse, Marilyn Schumann and Robert Mayo. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
