Zakie Demers Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Zakie Demers of Burlington, Massachusetts, who passed away on October 13, 2021 at the age of 99. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her brother George. She is survived by: her children, George Sakey of Lynn, Richard Nahat (Patsy), Louis Sakey (Lynn) of Woburn, Cheryl Baker (James) of Billerica and Suzy Sakey of Burlington; her siblings, Georgette of Tyngsboro, Gibran, Elias, Souhel, Hanan and Laurice; and her sibling-in-law Ibtehaj Massabni of Bedford. She is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
Current Covid restrictions require masks in the funeral home as well as the Church.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in Zakie's memory may be made to the Church or to the American Cancer Society.
