It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Rita Marie Tauro of Burlington, Massachusetts, born in Somerville, Massachusetts, who passed away on November 22, 2024, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her siblings, Rosalind Barnes (late William), William Braga and Edward Braga (Margaret) of Arlington; and her brother-in-law Ronald Tauro (Cathy). She is survived by: her husband Edward A. Tauro; her children, Michele L. Nichol (Todd) of Bedford, Denise M. Bowers (Craig) of Reading and Ronald J. Tauro (Yuriko) of Melrose; her grandchildren, Kenneth Nichol, James Nichol, Danielle Bowers, Aaron Bowers and Edward Tauro; her brother Richard Braga (Judy) of Oviedo, FL.; and her siblings-in-law, Walter, Lisa Tauro of Arlington, William, Marisa Tauro of Somerville, David and Maria Tauro of Saugus. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, November 25th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Edward V. Sullivan Funeral Home (43 Winn St, Burlington, MA 01803). A funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, November 26th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the St. Malachy Church in St. Veronica Parish (99 Bedford St, Burlington, MA 01803). A burial will be held on Tuesday, November 26th 2024 at 11:15 AM at the Pine Haven Cemetery (84 Bedford St, Burlington, MA 01803).
