He is survived by: his sons, Mark Shield (Karen) of Burlington and Brian Shield (Brenda) of Andover, MA; his grandchildren, Michael of Austin, TX, Stephen of Atlanta, GA, William of Brighton, MA, Ryan of Denver, CO, Mariah of Boston, MA, Jennifer of Washington, DC and Jessica of Andover; and his sister Marie Mallet of Keene, NH.
