It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Ann Barrows of Burlington, Massachusetts, born in Newton, Massachusetts, who passed away on November 9, 2023, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Colin MacDonald and Myrtle MacDonald (Ross); her husband George Barrows; her granddaughter Kerry Anne Clarke; her sister Margaret Barrows (Bill); and her siblings-in-law, Mary Geoffrion (Paul), Tom Barrows and Margaret Nix (John).
She is survived by: her children, Paul Barrows (Nadia) of Florida, Richard Barrows of New Hampshire and Anne Clarke (Adam) of Maine; her grandchildren, Amy Murgo (Bobby), Laura Balestrieri, Bryan Barrows (Shay), Charlize Barrows, Colin Clarke and Katie Clarke; her great grandchildren, Hayden, Austin Murgo, Brady and Autumn Balestrieri; her sister-in-law Marilyn Barrows; and her cousin Kaye MacLellan. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations in Mary's memory be made to The Barbara Bush Children's Hospital, 22 Bramhall Street, Portland, ME 04102.
