Piacentini of Burlington, Massachusetts, born in Somerville, Massachusetts, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 30, 2024 at the age of 74. He was predeceased by: his wife Mary Piacentini (Wiley); and his parents, Louis Piacentini and Mary Piacentini (Polito). He is survived by: his son Dr. Louis W. Piacentini of Burlington; and his sibling Jean Piacentini of Woburn. He is also survived by many cousins, extended family members and dear friends.

“Louis was a classmate of mine in elementary and junior high schools. My family moved when we were in the eighth grade, and I only saw him once thereafter, a chance encounter at the Sears in North Cambridge when we both were engaged to be married. Although we lost touch, I always remembered him for what he was: a warm, nice, kind guy. I am sorry to learn of his passing and send condolences to his loved ones.”
