With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Josephine M. Carpenito of Burlington, Massachusetts, born in Boston, Massachusetts, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 3, 2024 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband John J. Carpenito, Jr.; her parents, Antonino Tavilla and Anna Tavilla (Spardo); and her siblings, Antoinette Lynch, Stefana Tavilla and Anthony Tavilla.
She is survived by: her children, Denise Gentile (Louis) of Woburn, John Carpenito, III (Susan) of Bradford, Anthony Carpenito (Kevin Flint) of Waban, David Carpenito of San Diego and Maria Crowley (Steven) of Lowell; her sister Mary Tavilla of Boston; her grandchildren, Danielle Gentile, Christopher Gentile, Dean Carpenito, Brandon Carpenito, Cameron Carpenito, Gianna Carpenito, Michael Carpenito-Kronenfeld and Olivia Carpenito-Kronenfeld; her great grandchildren, Luca, Adrianna, Lyla, Landon, Sieanna, Brooks and Amauri; and her sisters-in-law, Lena Carpenito and Eleanor Carpenito. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
