He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Elvira Dinelli and Joseph Dinelli; his wife Geraldine (Shaw); his children, Linda Tsantoulis (Richard) of Florence, SC, Robert Dinelli (Andy Li) of San Francisco, CA, Janice Taylor (Robert) of Natick, Stephen Dinelli (Nancy) of Reading, Joseph Dinelli, Jr. of Tampa, FL and David Dinelli (Patricia) of Billerica; and his grandchildren, Joseph Gangestad of Wausau, WI, Sean Taylor of Milford, MA, Benjamin of Billerica and Allison Dinelli of Billerica. He was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials in Joseph's name may be made to Albacore Park in Portsmouth, NH, where funds are used to maintain the USS Albacore, plus develop and coordinate traveling and remote educational programs.
