He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Anthony DeRosa and Gloria DeRosa; his children, Jake and Jessica; his wife Susan DeRosa (Fantasia); his son Tommy DeRosa of Burlington; his brothers, Anthony DeRosa (Lorraine) of Hampstead, NH and Rocky DeRosa (Peggy) of Davenport, FL.; his cousins, Frank and Jean Lombardo of Billerica; his parents-in-law, Vincent and Joan Fantasia of Burlington; and his siblings-in-law, Linda, Ed McCann of Merrimack, NH, Carol, Robert Shaw of Andover and Laura Fantasia (late Ed Ryan) of Scituate. He was also cherished by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
In 2013, a dear friend, Kevin McGillivray, donated one of his kidneys to John.
