He was predeceased by: his father James Patrick Cavanaugh; and his brother William Cavanaugh. He is survived by: his friend Jimmy; his wife Theresa M. Cavanaugh (Woodlock); his sons, Patrick Cavanaugh (Rebecca) of Burlington, Matthew Cavanaugh of Burlington and Sean Cavanaugh (Casey Slejzer) of Conway, SC.; his grandchildren, Austin, Audriana, Katarina and Easton Cavanaugh; his mother Barbara Cavanaugh of Burlington; his siblings-in-law, Robin, Stephen Thompson of Hudson, NH, Maria, Michael McGrath of Franklin and Antonia O'Hara of Waltham; and his nieces and nephews, Christopher, Bryan and Lauren McGrath. He is also survived by cousins and friends.
