With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James E. Whalen of Burlington, Massachusetts, who passed away on March 8, 2025 at the age of 86. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of James E. Whalen to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his parents, John Whalen and Ellen Whalen. He is survived by: his wife Lillian Whalen; his children, Eleanor Whalen of Wakefield, James Whalen, Jr. (Courtney) of Concord and Jennifer Whalen-Hume (John) of Burlington; his grandchildren, Colin, Maddie, Dillon, Justin, Patrick and Matthew; and his niece Ellen Schultz of Chandler, AZ. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins.
