He is survived by: his parents, James B. "Jim" Moore Sr. of Burlington and Joanne Rae Moore; his children, Shantel of Woburn and Jase James Woods Moore of Woburn; the parent of his children Shaniel Johnson; his sister Heather M. Moore of Burlington; and his aunts and uncles, Lynne Moore Valente (Glenn) of Westford, Beth Moore of Woburn, Fred Moore (late Anne) of Billerica, Peter Moore (Alicia) and David Moore (Joan). He is also survived by many loving cousins and friends.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to calling hours at the Lynch-Cantillon Funeral Home, 263 Main Street, Woburn on Tuesday, October 12th 3-7 p.m. At the family's request, in lieu of flowers, please make remembrances in "JMo"'s honor to the American Diabetes Association, 2451 Crystal Drive, Suite 900, Arlington, VA 22202.

“It is unfortunate James Hawaii referred to as Bubba when he was a little boy passed away but what was most unfortunate was nobody had told me about it until the 15th of the month I was very close to James growing up his nickname was Bubba I am his uncle I loved him dearly I am absolutely heartbroken living up here in the mountains and did not get the news until the 15th of the month. My condolences to Heather and my condolences to James senior. I haven't seen James in a while and it breaks my heart that he is gone I am in a State of Shock right now trying to grieve his loss but having personal problems with the real family is really bad I don't mean to put that down on here but I am really heartbroken that I could not be there for his funeral he meant so much to me and I meant so much to him as an uncle. Rest in peace Sweet Baby James I love you big man and I'll see you on the other side”
