He was predeceased by: his parents, John Smith and Edith Smith; and his siblings, Irene Kelley, Dorothy McMakin, Marie McAllister, Edwin Smith, Bernard Smith, Edith Feltrup, Barbara Beale, John Smith and Theresa Caserta-Fahey.
He is survived by: his wife Gloria Smith (DeOliveira); his sons, Michael Smith (Barbara) of Westford, Peter Smith (Victoria) of Cumming, GA and Jeffrey Smith (Nicole Cushion) of Burlington; his grandchildren, Alexandra Smith, Peter James Smith (Ashley), Julia Rose Smith, Austin Tyler Smith, Ashley Kay Smith and Justin Ryan Smith; and his great grandchild Lucas Karpati.
