He was predeceased by: his parents, David Rice and Lida Rice (Maynard); and his brother Walter Rice. He is survived by: his daughters, Lurena Taylor (Harry), Carrie Shea (Daniel) and Rebecca Rice; his grandchildren, Kaitlin Rice and Joseph Dufresne; and his siblings, George Rice, David, Cy Rice (Carol) and Paula Rice.
