He was predeceased by: his spouse Ngo Bee Ing. He is survived by: his children, Khin Cho Cho (Ko Thein Soe), Edward (Karen Ong), Michael (Vicky Ong), Siu (Fred Cho), Than Than Aye (Ko Thung Nay Aung), Noreen Ong, Cynthia (John Chang) and Stephen (Yu Yu Ong). He is also survived by 22 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren.
