With solemn reverence, we commemorate Thomas F. O'Brien D. of Brookline, Massachusetts, whose life came to an end on December 9, 2024 at the age of 95, leaving behind cherished memories. He was predeceased by: his parents, Francis Noonan O'Brien and Gertrude O'Brien (Connor); and his siblings, Kathleen and David O'Brien. He is survived by: his wife Ruth O'Brien (Reardon); his children, Neal O'Brien of Brookline, MA, Luke O'Brien (Ilse), Brien of Holliston, MA, Conan O'Brien (Liza Powel O'Brien) of Los Angeles, CA, Kate O'Brien of Boston, MA, Jane O'Brien of San Anselmo, CA and Justin O'Brien (Joanna Shea O'Brien) of Winchester, MA.; and his sister-in-law Judith O'Brien (Colognesi). He is also survived by fifteen nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, December 17th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the St. Lawrence Church (774 Boylston St, Chestnut Hill, MA 02467). A funeral Mass was held on Wednesday, December 18th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
