He was predeceased by: his parents, Peter J Petrie and Nellie Petrie (Romard); and his brother John Petrie. He is survived by: his wife Ruth P. Petrie (Holbrook); his children, Tina-Marie Holbrook, Bobbi-Jo L. Reid, Mark-Anthony J. Petrie, Joseph "Joey" and Cameron "Cammy" Petrie; his children-in-law, Richard Reid, Sr. and Adored; his grandchildren, Michael Hill, Jordan Reid, Richard Reid, Sarah Hill and Paul Reid; his great grandchildren, Jesse Reid, Evie Reid and Ramona Reid; and his siblings, Peter P. Petrie, Mary Jo Reardon (Richard), Danny Petrie (Mary-Kate), Edward Petrie (late Catherine) and Teresa Lyons (Patrick). He is also survived by uncle to his many nieces and nephews.
