She was predeceased by: her parents, Israel Chansky and Sadie Waldman-Chansky; her husband Abraham Schickler; and her siblings, Daniel Chansky, Lois Chansky-Wasserman, Beatrice Chansky-Levine and Esther Chansky Alpert.
She is survived by: her sons, Eliot Schickler of Brookline and Eric Schickler (Terri Bimes) of Berkeley; her grandchildren, Sam and Lea; her nephew Marvin Levine (Reba Swartz-Levine) of Florida; her grandsons, Matthew Chansky (Lisa) of New Jersey and James Chansky (Catherine); her nieces, Aviva Chansky-Guttmann (Danny Gutmmann), Neysa Chansky-Chasen (David) of Arizona and Claudia McDermott; and her children, Sherrill Levine-Kinney (Leonard) of Maine, Arlene Alpert Melhman (David Mehlman) of Chicago, Keren Chansky-Suberi (Moshe Suberi) of New Jersey, Tamar Chansky-Stern (Phil) of Philadephia and Linda Janidlo (Tom Janidlo) of Alaska.
