He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Koretsky and Rachel (Greenfield); his wife Elaine Stern; and his siblings, Schachna, Leo, Irving and Shirlee Ehrenberg.
He is survived by: his sons, Peter and David; his children-in-law, Anastasia and David Reina; and also Dr. David Stern. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren.
