It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Shirley MacPherson of Brookline, Massachusetts, born in Glace Bay, Nova Scotia, who passed away on December 21, 2023, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Allen "Red" MacPherson; her children, Richard MacPherson (Celia) of Northborough, Katherine Finney of Bennington, VT, Kevin MacPherson (Sarah) of Oak Bluffs and Dianne Laffey (Michael) of Brookline; and her grandchildren, Thomas, Sean, Alison MacPherson, Bronwyn, Lindsay, Cordelia Finney, Olivia, Samuel MacPherson and Marcus Laffey.
In lieu of flowers donations in memory of Shirley may be made to the Brookline food pantry Housed at The United Paris, 210 Harvard Street in Brookline.
