She was also cherished by nieces and nephews.

“Selma will be missed by all who knew her. I know of no other person as loving as she - a people magnet! Selma adored her family beyond words. She took joy and great pride in all of her brother and sister’s accomplishments, as well as their spouses’… Sister, Elaine’s children were loved by Selma, as though they were her own. Then came grandnieces and a grandnephew! How Selma kvelled over them. She was a warm, enthusiastic friend to all.”
