With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Ruth R. O'Brien of Brookline, Massachusetts, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Ruth left this world on December 12, 2024 at the age of 92, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her spouse Thomas Francis O; her parents, James Francis Reardon and Ruth Reardon (Powers); and her brothers, Edward Powers Reardon and James Gavin Reardon.
She is survived by: her children, Neal O'Brien of Brookline, MA, Luke O'Brien (Ilse), Brien of Holliston, MA, Conan O'Brien (Liza Powel O'Brien) of Los Angeles, CA, Kate O'Brien of Boston, MA, Jane O'Brien of San Anselmo, CA and Justin O'Brien (Joanna Shea O'Brien) of Winchester, MA.; and her grandchildren, Neve, Beckett, Paget, Eamonn, Declan, Grace, Irene, Finn and Caitlin. She is also survived by fifteen nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, December 17th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the St. Lawrence Church (774 Boylston St, Chestnut Hill, MA 02467). A funeral Mass was held on Wednesday, December 18th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
