With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ray F. Wellbaum of Brookline, Massachusetts, born in Cincinnati, Ohio, who passed away on May 8, 2024 at the age of 73. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Ray F. Wellbaum to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his parent Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra. He is survived by: his wife Karen Campbell; his daughters, Leah and Emma Wellbaum; his sisters, Laura Kalaitzoglou and Lisa Wellbaum Geber (Stephen); his nieces and nephews, Stephanie Geber, Lauren Geber Marquez (Danny), Alex and Erik Kalaitzoglou; his great-nephews, Rylan and Kingston; and his great-niece Alena.

In retirement, Ray served as a literacy tutor in the Boston Public Schools, regaling children with reading and sing-along videos via zoom during COVID.
