He was predeceased by: his parents, Maurice Burns Sr. and Marian (John Doherty); and his sister Marian Burns. He is survived by: his siblings, Maurice Burns (Ellen) of Dedham, Vaughan Nesslar (late Louis) of Evanston and Terri Ann Vivenzio of Belchertown, MA.. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

“I was very lucky i became friends with Owen when he caddied at Woodland Golf Club Owen was such a nice person really cared about people that he knew especially his family!! He told me many golf stories from the PGA Tour guys he caddied for and things he saw they were so great !! He also told me that Fed Ex paid him to wear there colors and small Fed Ex while he caddied i thought that was smart making more money just wearing there stuff so inventive!! RIp peace my friend Love BK”
