He is survived by: his parents, Kenneth Kern and Karin Kane-Kern of Brookline; his siblings, Briit Kern and Kenidi Kern; his grandparents, Thomas, Cecile Kane, Kenneth Sr. and Barbara Kern; and his cousins, Marissa Kane, Taigue Stephenson, Spencer Stephenson and Matthew Kane.
