He was predeceased by: his parents, Dorothy Kahn (Greenfogel) and Sol Kahn; his sister Marilyn Rita Seplow (Richard); and his nephew Andrew Jay Seplow. He is survived by: his children, Joel Jack Kahn (Martha Cuevas Kahn), Jason Ward Kahn and Dossie Finley Kahn (Patrick Singleton); his grandchildren, Deray Castillo Cuevas, May Finley Singleton-Kahn and Gloria Evans Singleton-Kahn; his sibling Aron Jay "Ronnie" Kahn; his nieces, Ellen Kahn and Ann Kahn; and his nephew Philip Austin Seplow.
His death was caused by complications following infection with the Covid-19 virus.
