Marilyn left this world on September 3, 2024 at the age of 93, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. She was predeceased by: her parents, David Kotock and Ada Kotock; her husband Harold Mallock; her sister Frances; her brother-in-law Philip Silverstein; and her nephew Steven Silverstein.
She is survived by: her sons, Jerold Tilden (Beth Richter), Mark (Susan Tilden), Jim Mallock (Susan Fitzgibbon), Arthur (Tina Mallock) and Bob (Michelle Mallock); her grandchildren, Matthew, Meagan, Andrea, Adam, Lauren, Bill, Joseph, Trisha, John, David, Dina, Ben and Ashley; her great grandchildren, Marlowe, Kenzie, Goldie, Crosby and Eliott; her nieces, Susan Silverstein, Maria O'Reilly and Ann; her nephew Barry Silverstein; her great-nephew Owen Breitner; her niece Audrey; her nephews, Alan and Daniel; her great-nieces and great-nephews, Laura, Dana, Howard, Jill, Matthew, Robin and Nikki; and her close friend Roz.
A funeral service was held on Friday, September 6th 2024 at 9:30 AM at the Stanetsky Memorial Chapels (1668 Beacon St, Brookline, MA 02445). A shiva was held on Sunday, September 8th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Home of Mark and Susan Tilden.
