She was predeceased by: her husband Richard; and her sister Nancy Berman. She is survived by: her children, Susan (Dan Silverman), Lewis (Patrice) and Mark; and her grandchildren, Ava, Ellie and Adam.
A graveside service was held on Thursday, December 26th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Boston Cemetery (776 Baker St, West Roxbury, MA 02132). A shiva was held on Thursday, December 26th 2024 at the Lew and Patrice's Home.
In Joan's memory, donations can be made to Brandeis University.
