He is survived by: his wife Johanna Kaplan; his children, Charlie and Corey Ladge; his stepchildren, Livvy and Jack Bryan; his child Kali; his mother Marilyn Ladge; his sibling Meredith Ladge; his aunts, Bunny Ladge and Ronda Newman; his uncle Stephen; his cousins, David, Michael and Rich Newman; his parents-in-law, Mark and Erika Kaplan; his siblings-in-law, Jess and Danielle Kaplan; his nephews, Nathaniel, Jacob, Alexander and Will; his close friends, Doug Chamberlain and Jim; and his friend Jim.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Jim's memory may be made to the David Reardon Research Fund at Dana Farber Cancer Institute, 10 Brookline Place, Brookline, MA 02445.
