He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur LaCroix and Marjorie LaCroix; and his brother Steven A. LaCroix. He is survived by: his sisters, Jeannine L. Mara (John) of Avon, CT and Suzanne L Vreeland (John) of Hingham, MA.; his sister-in-law Kim LaCroix of Laguna Niguel, CA.; his nieces and nephews, Kaitlin, Megan, Eric, Krista, Matthew and Stephanie; and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Penelope, Ryland, Olivia, Rex, Lyla and Isabel.
In 2019, after a diagnosis of early Alzheimer's, Jim moved to a new home in Waltham run by Beaverbrook STEP where he received the increased care he needed by a committed and most compassionate staff. After retiring from BC, Jim attended a wonderful day program at The Price Center in Newton transitioning to the Day Habilitation section as his Alzheimer's progressed, where an attentive and devoted staff kept him engaged.
