Georgia Haramis Obituary
We are sad to announce that on February 22, 2025, at the age of 99, Georgia Haramis of Brookline, Massachusetts passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, may Georgia find peace everlasting, cradled in the gentle embrace of the universe. And as we stand on the shores of remembrance, may her legacy inspire us to live each day with purpose, passion, and profound gratitude for the gift of life itself.
She was predeceased by: her spouse Emmanouel J. Haramis; her parents, Theodore Flessas and Bertha Flessas (Parthena); her brother William T. Flessas; and her sister-in-law Penelope Flessas.
She is survived by: her son Theodore S. Mavrikos (Cheryl). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews and three godchildren.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 26th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Annunciation Greek Orthodox Cathedral of New England (514 Parker St, Boston, MA 02120). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, February 26th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Wednesday, February 26th 2025 from 12:15 PM to 12:30 PM at the Walnut Hills Cemetery (95 Grove St, Chestnut Hill, MA 02467).
In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to the above named church or to Hellenic Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, 601 Sherman Street, Canton, MA.
