He is survived by: his spouse Sharon Pucker Rivo; his children, Lisa Rivo, Steven Rivo (Jessica Millstone) and Rebecca Rivo; his brother Morton G. Rivo; his sibling Bernard Pucker; his nephews, Michael Pucker, Ken Pucker and Jon Pucker; and also, Susie Rivo, Michael Rivo and Sue Pucker.

In lieu of flowers, donations in his name may be made to Physicians for Reproductive Rights (prh.org) or The Benjamin M. Banks, MD Fellowship at the Brigham and Women's Hospital, 116 Huntington Ave, Boston, MA 02116.
