She was predeceased by: her husband John McGovern; her children, Catherine Petrie and James McGovern of Boston; her parents, John P. Menton and Maryellen Menton (Reilly) of Roxbury; and her sister Mary E. Menton of Brookline.
She is survived by: her children, John McGovern of Acton, Robert McGovern (Michele) of Norwood, Carol Russell of Acton, Edward Petrie of Brookline and Mark McGovern of Everett, WA.; her brother John J. Menton (Barbara) of Freedom, NH.; and her grandchildren, Ian, Devin McGovern, Thomas McGovern, Ryan, Christina Russell and Michael Miller.
Relatives and friends are kindly invited. (COVID-19 guidelines will be followed in both the funeral home and church.) Interment Walnut Hills Cemetery.
