He was predeceased by: his parents, George Rose and Beatrice Rose; and his sister Miriam (Ken Leavitt). He is survived by: his wife Bernice (Berman); his children, Susan Rose of Brookline and Alan Rose (Pam); his grandchildren, Batya Rose, Rebecca McCormack (Paul), Jennifer Rose, Jeremy Rose (Paula) and Emily Rose; and his great grandchildren, Adina Rose, Colton McCormack, Eliana Rose and Kinsley McCormack. He is also survived by many friends and family.
After retiring from a long and successful career with the US Navy civil service he had a second career working for HR Block which he only stopped at the start of the pandemic.
