He was predeceased by: his parents, Wah Chin and Len Thieu Wong; his stepparent Ngan Heung Moy; and his sibling Lou Lock Chin. He is survived by: his wife Josephine Lee Chin; his children, Brady Chin of Venice, CA and Joliana Kurtz (Timothy) of Trophy Club, TX.; his grandchildren, Jagger Kurtz and Neil Chin; his siblings, Frank F. Chin of Boston, Amy Chin Guen of Boston, Rose Chin Len of Salem, NH, Helen Chin Len, Ann Chin Wong, Fung Tew Hugh, Fung Yuet Moy and Fung Nui Moy; and his nieces and nephews, Leo Guen, Michael Guen, Timothy Guen, Richard Len, Mark Chin, Theodore Len, William Moy, Willard Moy, Dickie Moy, Jackie Moy and V. Rose.
