He was predeceased by: his wife Sue Wood Chin; his parents, Tong Lim Chin and Gee Sue Chin (Fong); and his sibling Cleo Hyde. He is survived by: his children, David Chin (Gail), Claire Maher (Stephen) of Walpole, Tom Chin (Kristyn) of Medfield and Carol Ferris (Thomas) of Medfield; his siblings, Thomas Chen of Malden and Carol Chen; and his grandchildren, Alicia, Danielle, Carolyn, Peter, Diane, Nicole, Natalie, Casey, Molly, Thomas and Lee. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
