He was predeceased by: his brother Charles Heiger. He is survived by: his wife Edith Heiger; his daughter Wendy Heiger-Bernays (Jonathan); his grandson David Heiger (Jude); his great grandchild Jason Heiger (Andrea); and also, Daniel, Benjamin, Joshua, Jack, Samuel, Noah, Sarah and Mairead.
