She was predeceased by: her parents, Bella Berkoff and Joseph Berkoff; her husband Joe; her daughter-in-law Dvora; her granddaughter Leah; her sister Thelma; and her nephew Jay.
She is survived by: her aunts and uncles, Sam, Dave, Anna, Lil and Etta; her former husband Joseph Garlick; her sons, Saul, Jonathan and David; her children-in-law, Lynn, Lauren and Adele; her grandchildren, Keren, Yossi, Shayna, Joshua, Matan, Jesse, Kayla and Chera; her great grandchildren, Julian, Emma, Hazel and Ruby; and her niece Linda.
She was generous in her support of the Yiddish Book Center in Amherst, Massachusetts; donations in memory of Anita should be made here.
