He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Clayton Bostwick Steadman and Hilda Steadman (Nelson); his son Dana Steadman; his daughter-in-law Rebecca Coover Steadman of Wexford, PA; his grandchildren, Andrew Steadman (Alexandra Paez) of Delray Beach, FL and Molly Steadman of Cleveland, OH.; his wife Barbara Sheldon Steadman; and his siblings, John Cardell Steadman and Phyllis Carolyn Bennet Duval.
